Spring Cleaning Your Garden

It may sound strange but spring cleaning your garden can really help your property to sell but also can help the environment.

Compost any prunings, leaves, grass trimmings

Repair broken fences, paving, trellises etc

Oil gates and clear pathways

Tie back overhanging plants and shrubs

Clean paving and decking

Tidy beds and borders

Replace any dead plants

Clean garden furniture, washing lines and barbeques

Check water features are working and ponds are clean

Clean any children's play equipment

Check bird tables and baths, keep them well stocked

Invest in water butts

Plant sweet smelling herbs in pots and place by your back door

Tidy and if necessary replant hanging baskets, containers and window boxes
